Nail Polish Swap Goodies!

Hey all! Today is the day I get to reveal what I got from the nail polish swap, hosted by Rachel from LaLa Lists and Carly from Lipgloss and Crayons !

 I received a lovely package in the mail from my swap partner, Jessica.

Along with the super sweet handmade card, there were two polishes.

All About You is a sparkly gold, which I wouldn't normally pick for myself but I love it and Lying Nails is the perfect shimmery autumn red! Thank you so much to Jessica for sending them to me! And to Rachel and Carly for hosting this awesome swap! I will for sure be participating in the next one.

Pinterest Lovelies

I was a little late to the whole Pinterest craze. Everyone around me was talking about it like it was the greatest thing ever and I was just like 'whatevs.' Well I have seen the error of my ways and long story short, I'm now completely addicted, so this will probably be a regular feature!

Thrifting treasures!

So you've all been waiting on the edge of your seats to see what I got, no?

First, the clothes

Then I found 4 books...

and a little owl figurine.

Then to top it all off, Justin picked up these lovelies for me on his way home from work! I love my fiance :)

Here we have Justin, in his very first appearance on here!

I was going through his Instagram just now asking which photo he wanted me to post and this was the winner...it was between this and one of him in a bowtie.

Deeelish pasta! and some family time!

Did everyone have a good Labor Day? I know I did! It was the first one I've had off since starting my job five years ago, so I was determined to make it fun.

My sister Sam and my dad came to visit me and we went out for a late lunch/early dinner.

Waiting for our food...the people at the table across from us were giving me weird looks; guess they never take photos of themselves in restaurants?



The portobello ravioli...yum yum!



I also had pumpkin cheesecake and it was divine...I'm so glad it's fall-ish now!

After our meal we went thrifing....tomorrow I'll be sharing my finds!

If you really knew me

(I'm pretty sure I've seen this topic on almost every blog I follow, now it's my turn!)

If you really knew me, you'd know that I'm addicted to Starbucks Frappuccinos, the ones in the glass bottles. Doesn't matter what kind, I love them all!

If you really knew me, you'd probably think I have slight ADD, because my conversations are all over the place. One minute I'm pondering what I want for lunch and before you know it I'm going on about whether owls have eyebrows. For the record, they do. :)

If you really knew me, you'd know I really love scary shows. Put on some old episodes of Unsolved Mysteries or Disappeared and I'll be glued to the tv for hours, only tearing myself away to look up more information online. Sometimes I think I should have gotten a criminology degree.

If you really knew me, you'd know that I've wanted to be a ballerina since the age of four, despite being hopelessly uncoordinated. I took a ballet class in college and let's just say it was....interesting. Luckily, I can wear ballet-esque outfits to my heart's desire to make up for it.

If you really knew me, you'd know I'm always searching for new books and music to obsess over. So if you can introduce me to something I end up loving, we'll probably be besties for life.

Jewelry Swap!

I actually received two pieces of jewelry; on the left is an orange link bracelet and on the right is a flower necklace! I love them both and am searching for just the right picture to put in the middle of the flower!
