Thrifting treasures!

So you've all been waiting on the edge of your seats to see what I got, no?

First, the clothes
purple skirt

dress (F21 tags still on it!)

Then I found 4 books...

and a little owl figurine.
Then to top it all off, Justin picked up these lovelies for me on his way home from work! I love my fiance :)
Here we have Justin, in his very first appearance on here!
I was going through his Instagram just now asking which photo he wanted me to post and this was the winner...it was between this and one of him in a bowtie.
You want to see that now too, don't you?
Thought so.

Epicness.

Guess what I did today?

I finally got to see Moonrise Kingdom!!!
I had to wait forever, but the movie finally got here and I loved it!
I'm going to be honest, this is the first Wes Anderson film I've ever seen....I know!
Seeing as I liked this one, I'll have to watch his others.
Also, it probably isn't going to surprise anyone, but other than the storyline my favorite aspect of the film was most definitely Suzy's wardrobe.
I mean, just look at these dresses!

Seriously, I need these dresses!
On that note, I'm off to scour Etsy and Modcloth for something similar.

Sunday

It's been a typical Sunday here at our house. My dad and brother came to visit earlier, along with my sister and her boyfriend. We went to Amigos for lunch. I had enchiladas and a taco; it was so good! After that we all went to B&N to look at books. I bought a book I've wanted for a long time, The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath. I remember reading it a few years ago and really loving it, so I'm excited to read it again. Then we stopped by Target and I found a cute skirt that I'll be able to wear to work...score! While waiting for the rest of the family to finish their shopping Justin and I got some coffee and chatted about our weekend. He was gone Friday and Saturday doing some ghost hunting. Some friends of his are the founders of CCPI, and they investigate abandoned/possibly haunted places. Too scary for me, so I never go, but I like hearing about it!

Here are a few pictures from today...

Before we left for lunch

Justin looking awesome
Sitting pretty at Starbucks
Best cookie crumble frap ever!
Justin and our roommate David are watching some Doctor Who now, so I'm gonna read my new book and kick back for the rest of the night.
