Deeelish pasta! and some family time!

Did everyone have a good Labor Day? I know I did! It was the first one I've had off since starting my job five years ago, so I was determined to make it fun.

My sister Sam and my dad came to visit me and we went out for a late lunch/early dinner.

Waiting for our food...the people at the table across from us were giving me weird looks; guess they never take photos of themselves in restaurants?

The portobello ravioli...yum yum!

I also had pumpkin cheesecake and it was divine...I'm so glad it's fall-ish now!
After our meal we went thrifing....tomorrow I'll be sharing my finds!

  1. I love the idea of thrifting. I never seem to find anything in the UK, but some of the flea markets in Germany are awesome. I can't wait to see what you got. Out of interest, what is Labor day for?

  2. Flea markets are awesome! I went to one last month that had gorgeous dishes, but they were sooo pricey that I didn't get any. Someday I will get to Germany!

As for Labor Day, I think it's supposed to be a holiday for people who work...or maybe people in worker's unions? Lol I honestly don't know!
